Lightweight – weighs less than 3 pounds as you use your trekking (hiking) poles to hold up the tent.
Very easy setup – thanks to well-placed anchor points, setup is quick and easy, with none of the pole slippage and tensioning issues that plague other trekking pole tents.
Ventilation – four integral vents and vestibule configurations keep the rain out and the air circulating.

What is good about the Nemo Equipment Meta 2 Person Ultralight Trekking Tent
Rating:

There were only a few reviews for this lightweight trekking tent. One reviewer stated that Nemo makes a great tent. This tent is designed to be used with trekking poles. It weighs in at 3 lbs when it is packed down into its waterproof sack. It is a single wall, no see-um mesh, hybrid tent. It has two, very roomy vestibules. Set up is easy and once it is correctly tensioned, the structure is solid
Another comment was that most backpacking tents taper from head to toe in an effort to cut back on the overall weight but this tent is a perfect rectangle with no taper. It’s designed for two persons to sleep opposite of eachother, in a head to toe configuration. For one person use, like I use it, the space is outstanding. I’m 6 ft tall and have no issues with my head or feet touching the tent sides.
This reviewer felt that this is a GREAT single-walled trekking pole tent. Lightweight if you nix the stuff sack and trim the unnecessary addons.
A backpacker stated that this tent is light compact and full of space. AND NO ANNOYING POLES! It is definitely the last tent I’m ever going to have to buy. Thank you NEMO.
